Bun's Past (Before War and Bunnies)
Bunjamin, or Bun for short, was born in his house. He had four other siblings born with him. (Beaurabbit, Sincapatia, Torpea, Banyanian) Two of them, Banyanian and Beaurabbit died about five minutes after they were born. That left Bun with two sisters. A week after their birth, they began to explore the big world around them. They learned about the terrible, unspeakable creatures in the woods beyond the El-bow village. They learned about humans, and how human younglings liked to chase bunnies. They learned an escape routine, if they were being chased. They learned how to collect food and the rules of the village. Most importantly, they learned to stay away from the El-len Clan. Bun and his siblings never saw an El-len and simply weren't interested.
Several years later, Bun's sister, Torpea, disappeared during a class field trip into a cave, far away from the El-bow village. Bun's family mourned at the loss. A few days later, Sincapatia ran away. The family suspected that Sincapatia ran away because she was upset about Torpea. Sadly, Bun's life continued without  his sisters.
Two years later, when Bun was 10 years old, his parents died. Bun was at school. The school called for a lock-down.  Bun, scared and confused, hid with the rest of the school.
Later that day, Bun found out that some El-vid had invaded. Half the town was wiped out, including Bun's parents. Bun, after experiencing such pain, dropped out of school. (In the El-bow clan, bunnies we'rent required to go to school after age 8.) He lived by himself in his parent's burrow, collecting food and building a strong relationship with Bez, a female bunny he had met at school years ago.
Eventually, Bun got used to his life, and he began to stop sorrowing over his parents' death and his sisters' disappearances. This leads to book one of War and Bunnies, when Bun meets with Bez and decides to go to the festival.
