Hamana, the author, loves to write. She loves the outdoors and animals that live in it. She has two baby fish (minnows!), named Bee and Bea. She likes to run and ride her bike. In her free time, she reads and (tries to) draw.

Berliner, the cover artist, loves to draw, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She lives with her family, a dog, and two parakeets.
