'An Angel Passing Over Me'
By Hamana
Sometimes alone,
I feel myself
Rising...
Rising in the sky;
The sun washing over me
And clouds passing by;
Sometimes I swear I can see
An angel passing over me.
But not a real angel, see;
But a feeling when
I feel myself
Rising...
Rising into space;
The cold grabbing me
And slicing like a mace;
Sometimes I swear I can see
An angel passing over me.
But not a real angel, see;
But a feeling when
I feel myself
Rising...
Rising out the boundaries,
The boundaries of space,
Of reality;
The blankness around puzzling me
and nothing to see;
But sometimes I swear hear a call
Telling me to fall.
'Distance'
By Hamana
The further,
some say
The better.
But really?
To be friends
Then to leave?
Maybe it mends
Those who grieve;
Or need to be away
For the better?
To sway;
a distance
sometimes may
need a rinse;
a cleanse?
But not us,
I may say;
But who knows?
A hope, a ray
A boat that rows;
But never may
have any intent
to stop?
So is it really?
Are they right?
Is it
The further,
some say
The better.
But really?
To be friends
Then to leave?
Maybe it mends
Those who grieve;
Or need to be away
For the better?
To sway;
a distance
sometimes may
need a rinse;
a cleanse?
But not us,
I may say;
But who knows?
A hope, a ray
A boat that rows;
But never may
have any intent
to stop?
So is it really?
Are they right?
Is it
The further,
The better?
