Whisper

Welcome to Whisper's main page! This page is all about Whisper, the main character's El-len friend in War and Bunnies. This page tells about Whisper's past, family, and much, much more!

Whisper's Past
Whisper was born in her burrow. She was born an El-len. She had 2 other siblings, Dew and Summer. A few minutes after Whisper, Dew, and Summer were born, their mother died. As a result, Whisper's father brought up the bunnies.
Whisper's father believed that every bunny was the same. He believed that everyone should get a fair shot at everything. Mostly, he believed that love, in any form, cannot be broken. His belief in this strengthened when his wife, Whisper's mother, died. Whisper's father tried his best to teach his children the right things.
Eventually, Whisper, Dew and Summer grew up. They were fair and kind, and they acted in the best way they could. They remembered that love, in any form, cannot be broken.
Then, one day, when they were all 17 years old, something terrible happened, right outside of the El-len town. Whisper's father was collecting food outside of the El-len town. He was trying to stay close to the walls, he said, but he must have strayed off. He then felt two arrows enter him, one in the arm and one in the stomach. Soon, El-len officials doing their rounds found him. He was barely alive. They hurried him to the nearest hospital.
Whisper and her siblings were called to the hospital. Curious, they entered the room that their father was hospitalized. Whisper saw her father. Her father weakly held Whisper's paw and told her what happened. Every once and a while, he'd cough. Whisper had tears in her eyes. She was angry. She wanted to kill the El-bow clan that had to be responsible for hurting her father. She started to say this out loud when her father interrupted.
"Whisper..." he said softly, "Do not be angry at them. They did this because they were mislead. You must not follow in their footsteps. What ever you do, Whisper, keep your soul golden, the way it is now. I-" Suddenly, Whisper's father gasped.
"Father!" Whisper said, tears running down her face.
"Do not follow in their footsteps, Whisper, okay?" Whisper's father said in the voice he used only when Whisper was a small bunny, "Please." He leaned back and a deep relaxation seemed to settle onto his old face, and Whisper knew it was over. Her father was dead.
Whisper dropped her father's cold paw and turn around to look at her siblings. They both were crying. Then, together, they left the hospital to the home that, for some reason, didn't feel much like home anymore.
A year later, Whisper felt something she hadn't ever felt before: a whole town's uneasiness. She knew why, too: there was going to be a war. Whisper hated the idea of wars. She particularly hated this war because she knew it was because of the rivalry between the two clans. So Whisper talked her siblings into going with her, and off they went.
They had lived in the forest for a week when suddenly, the family was separated  A fox had run at them, and the three bunnies scattered. Whisper had, from then and on, wandered aimlessly in the forest until, in War and Bunnies, ran into Bun.
